A Netflix Proposal Turns Into a Fairytale Wedding

Imagine a fairytale meet-cute, but instead of a chance encounter at a ball, it unfolds on a phone screen. Daniel Granger, an award-winning salon owner and TV personality, was facing a challenging time when a notification brought a smile to his face. It was a message that could have been straight out of a fairytale: "Will you marry me?" It was Alexandra, a viewer captivated by Daniel's charisma on a Netflix show. With a dash of boldness, she decided to take a chance. Daniel, equally smitten by her message and intrigued by her audacity, replied, "If you're as kind as you're beautiful, then yes, I will marry you."

Their story didn't end with a playful text exchange. Over the next few years, their connection grew stronger, leading them to the enchanting city of Prague for their official wedding.

Prague's historic Old Town Hall served as the backdrop for their intimate ceremony. Alexandra, a vision of modern elegance, defied tradition in a chic jumpsuit. Daniel, ever the classic gentleman, complemented her perfectly in a tux with a bowtie. Before the ceremony, the couple strolled through the charming streets of Prague, capturing their love story with the help of the talented photographer, Anna Kleckova.

The day after their intimate ceremony, the newlyweds embarked on a fairytale escape with their 80 guests to Chateau Nimerice. Nestled amidst beautiful landscape just a 30-minute drive from Prague, this enchanting chateau offered a picturesque setting for their wedding celebration. Imagine the Chateau with such a long history, Chateau Nimerice whispered of a bygone era.

The festivities kicked off with an informal welcome dinner, a relaxed gathering where guests could mingle and toast the happy couple. But Alexandra and Daniel, known for their playful spirits, surprised everyone with a mid-dinner disappearance. Joining them was their friend, Sketch Porter, a renowned tattoo artist known for his intricate and artistic designs. It turned out, Alexandra and Daniel had a unique plan - to permanently etch their love story onto their skin. They emerged from their short absence, not just as husband and wife, but with their wedding date tattooed on their ring fingers, a symbol of their unconventional love and commitment.

For the wedding ceremony, a white round podium, which has been rented from Frezia Fleur, served as the focal point, decorated with a timeless combination of white flowers and greenery, decorated by Katerina Durcakova from Blooming. Wooden chairs were arranged in a semi-circle, ensuring all guests had the perfect view as the couple exchanged heartfelt vows that brought tears to many eyes. The ceremony was further enhanced by the beautiful melodies of a string quartet playing the couple's favorite songs, such as Bensone Boone's Beautiful Things.

Following the ceremony and a delightful cocktail hour, guests were invited to a stunning beduin tent provided by TentsUp. Cream tablecloths and centerpieces echoed the wedding ceremony décor, creating a cohesive and elegant atmosphere. Daniel, a gifted speaker, delivered touching speeches that warmed the hearts of everyone present. A delicious dinner featuring traditional Czech cuisine was served, followed by an open bar for guests to toast the newlyweds by the catering company Maximum Services.

The afternoon programme kicked off with the couple's first dance, followed by an emotional dance with their parents. As a tribute to Daniel's deceased father, they danced to "Dance with My Father" by Luther Vandross, a moment filled with love and remembrance. A three-tiered white wedding cake made by Cupcakes Veronika with a unique twist stole the show. Featuring a carrot base and adorned with cream, fresh fruit, and fruit purée, it offered a beautiful and delicious centerpiece.

The fun didn't stop there. Guests were invited to change into white attire, creating a unified and stylish atmosphere. The groom delivered a heartfelt speech to his male friends, expressing his gratitude for their presence. The night took a vibrant turn with the Live Poetic Orchestra Show by DJ Melvin Coxx. Guests danced the night away to electronic music, a reflection of Alexandra and Daniel's shared love for the genre.

Ice sculptures of a woman and man, serving as a symbolic representation of passion and union, added a unique touch to the celebration. Guests playfully enjoyed shots served from these icy works of art. As a final touch, the couple treated everyone with a refreshing espresso martini, marking the official end of the program. But the party continued late into the night, filled with laughter and unforgettable memories.
